Venus has launched a new single Jind Mereya on 26 September 2017 at Hotel Juhu Plaza in Mumbai. The song has been penned by Nishi Malhotra, a Delhi writer. The song has been composed by Ram Shankar. The song features Ankur Malhotra and Maureen Mirza.
At the launch of the event, the enlivened composer said, “The song is a blend of melody and romance. The music of the song assails your senses, claiming the mind in one magnificent sweep of transcend sound.”
The song was launched by Aur Ahista… singer Pankaj Udhas, along with him the other guests who were present at the occasion were Singer Padma Wadkar, Mela famed actor Faisal Khan, Comedian Raju Srivastav, Director of Venus Worldwide Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Champak Jain, Actress Smita Gondkar, Bengali Singer Mouu Mekherrji.
Ankur Malhotra, the actor featuring in the song Jind Mereya did his schooling from DPS, R. K. Puram, Delhi and engineering from LNCT, Bhopal, in Telecommunications. He was passionate about acting even when in school; he played a lead role in Mira, directed by M. K. Raina, the renowned director.
Ankur has worked in a lead role in a film called Simply Complicated produced by Moonbody Productions, which is in its post production stage and is now targeting bigger banners. Ankur is a simple and humble person and his attitude and smile will take him far. Till date he has done 5 Pepsi ads and around 500 television episodes as lead and parallel lead. He has also acted in a couple of short films and daily prints like Dainik Bhaskar, Zoom Delhi and Surkhiyan have covered a story on his passion for acting.
